Artist Statement

Color, thread, and image are a part of the narrative in embroidery. This has been my chosen style. I began drawing as a child and have continued to draw to the present, then as a young adult I discovered thread. I have recently moved to an artists' co-op in St. Paul and am now surrounded by other practicing artists, which is very conducive to staying "on task" and producing work and exploring new avenues of challenge.
