Landscapes - Western Papermaking - Sat workshop, 7hrs
Sat. February 23rd
Learn how create handmade paper landscapes that can be framed, or used for cards.
We will cover several techniques including sheet formation with abaca and garden fibers, the use of pigments and inclusions. |
Assemblage: Incorporating Text and Small Images - 3D
Monday, March 10th
6 pm to 9 pm
All skill levels welcome
In this workshop discover new uses for all those small ‘bits and pieces,’ ‘flotsam and jetsam,’ ‘nuts and bolts’ that seem to find their way into your work areas. Small photographs, images and/or printed words can be incorporated into playful assemblages to create very personal pieces. Final product of this workshop will be three-dimensional sculptures. |
New Directions with Handmade Paper Using Text and Images - 2D
Monday, March 17th
All skill levels welcome
Create artwork by combining your favorite handmade papers with small pieces of printed prose, poetry, maps, and printed diagrams. Learn different techniques to create backgrounds that will enhance your collages. Final product of this workshop will be collages on canvas. |
